Days gone by I would would have served a green salad with tomatoes and Ranch dressing, then wondered why the salad was left untouched.

But I’ve learned a few things in my 30+ years of family holidays, and now I serve salad recipes with a variety of colors, textures and tasty additions. Salads so appealing that guests can’t resist giving them a try, so you won’t find much left in the bowl at the end of the meal.

The following salads have been hits at more than one celebration, so I’m sharing them with you. I’ll bet you can find one recipe in the bunch that will please family and friends.
