If you’re looking for a skinny strawberry dessert, then these strawberries stuffed with a lemony cream cheese filling are for you. Just be sure not to taste test, or you’ll be done for!
This has to be the easiest dessert recipe I’ve ever made with the most WOW factor.
I simply cut the bottom from gigantic strawberries and sliced them into quarters leaving the bottom intact.
Then I combined low fat cream cheese with honey, lemon zest, and lemon juice until it was very soft. I folded in whipped topping. Took about 3 minutes?
I stuffed my strawberries with my sweet cheesecake like filling, then sprinkled lemon zest on top. Can’t beat that for a quick dessert, can you?

- 8 ea strawberries, cleaned, stem removed and sliced 3/4 the way down into quarters
- 4 ounces low fat cream cheese, softened
- 2 teaspoon honey
- 2 tablespoons lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup whipped topping
- Combine cream cheese, honey, lemon juice and 1 tablespoon lemon zest. Reserve remaining zest to sprinkle on top of the strawberries. Cream well, then gently fold in whipped topping.
- Gently open the quartered strawberries and fill with cream.
- Top with lemon zest.
