Recently Fit&Fab living posted an article I had written on red quinoa. If you haven’t seen red quinoa in the stores, you wouldn’t the only one. I must admit I just happened to find it in the healthy living section of our local Fred Meyer and couldn’t pass it up.
If you follow this blog, you know I’m a big fan of quinoa. Full of protein and fiber, it’s a great alternative to rice. Quinoa works equally as well in hot or cold dishes. The taste and texture of the red quinoa was the same as the amber colored quinoa you’ll find in the bulk bins at your local grocery store, but the color is amazing!
