I always have leftover fruit that isn’t so far gone I have to throw it in the compost bin, but still not fresh enough to eat. Most of this fruit can be made into a sauce. Last night I had apples, mandarin oranges, and a very ripe mango. I chopped them all up and cooked them into a sauce.
The sauce is a great way to add nutrients and fiber to your morning oatmeal or bran muffins. Add to your morning yogurt. Top light vanilla ice cream for dessert, or freeze for later use.
