Ingredients
- 1 lbs Green Beans -- Trimmed
- 1/2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 ea Small Red onions -- cut in 8 wedges
- 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 tsp Brown Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
Instructions
- Steam beans in a pot with a vegetable steamer until crisp-tender, approximately 20 minutes.. Heat oil in large non-stick pan and saute onions until lightly browned. Add chicken broth and reduce sauce for 3 - 4 minutes. Stir in vinegar, brown sugar, salt and pepper. Add green beans.
