If you follow this blog, then I’m sure you can see it’s missing a few things like the wonderful cartoon header a talented graphics artist created for me.
This week was upgrade time for WordPress and the theme I use. Consequently – broken! Don’t we love our technology?
Hang in there with me while I work it out, and in the meantime I’m going to keep posting people pleasing recipes that are light and delightful.
On to today’s recipe . . .
I can honestly say that I don’t recall where this recipe came from. Debbie sent it to me and it was lost in the email shuffle after I sent it to Grandma Karen and asked her to make it for our Father’s Day potluck.
Don’t miss this one, it was a big hit at this Sunday’s Father’s Day celebration and incredibly simple to make.
Thank you to Grandma Karen for bringing such a terrific treat with all that colorful, sweet fruit!

Sorry about the header. Technology lets us down sometimes. Love the recipe….

It surely does, but I’ll keep working on it.
You’ll get your image back! This looks light and refreshing and perfect.

The Cool Whip or whipping cream would be great too, keeps it light.
This sounds like a nice and light lunch idea for those hot days. I feel your pain with the update. Just did it myself and am having some issues too. AAAARRRGH

I agree with the AAAARRRGH! My daughter would say “BAH!”
oh yes, technology and me are not a happy pair – that lemon dip does sound devine … refreshing with fruit…

Sounds fun and healthy! Fresh fruits are tasty. Sometimes tech can be annoying. I hear you!

Annoying to say the least, but at least we are always learning something new.
Yum! I love fruit dips…especially in the summer! And totally feel ya on the technology…I seriously think we never know how addicted we are until it’s broken.

Isn’t that the truth. Everything works great until and upgrade, then all the pieces need to fall into place.
Oh I love fruit salad and prepare them often. Your dip is a really refreshing complement. I’ll be trying this one I know. For your wordpress, try updating your css file. Just make sure you copy the original first in case it doesn’t workout! http://www.cleancss.com/

Thanks for the advice. I’ll give that a try. I have many backups. I’m a Mac technician for our local school district, so backups are my thing.
I love this dip, but would probably ruin the calories by dipping my graham crackers in it….love this dip sounds terrific~

Ooooh! Great idea!
Yum! dip makes fruit so much fun. I have a secret weakness for cool whip.

You can beat simple and sweet.
Love the fruit dip. I did the wordpress upgrade to, and now my spam filter doesn’t work.

Between the past two virus outbreaks and the upgrades, it’s been a frustrating month of blogging. Have you tried the WordPress forums? They’ve been helpful for me in the past.
aw man, that sucks. hope you can get that corrected. I loved the cartoon image.

This looks interesting but Cool Whip always makes me nervous. I think that heavy cream, although it has fat, is the choice for me because it doesn’t have chemicals whose names I can’t pronounce.

I do agree with you. I’ve recently switched to butter and fresh farmed eggs. The fewer ingredients the better. Fresh and wholesome.
