When it comes to celebrating a new year, most people reflect on their past accomplishments, struggles, and time spent with family and friends.
At then end of every year, this cook reflects on time spent in the kitchen doing what she loves most – conjuring up healthy recipes! Along with past accomplishments, struggles, and time spent with family and friends of course.
Every year I post two recipes a week for a total of 104 original, healthy recipes (well, most of them are healthy with a dessert or two thrown in), and every year I check Google’s analytics to see which recipes readers like the best and collect them in a list to share with you.
Many of the same recipes from my Top Recipes for 2014 appear in this list, and I take that as a sign that people are sharing because they’ve tried the recipes for themselves and found them worth passing along.
This year I was surprised to see this strawberry lemonade slushie with vodka on the list. It must have been a warm summer for many of us!
Okay – let’s move on and see which healthy recipes made the top 20!
12. Creamy Chicken Casserole with Brown Rice, Mushrooms and Baby Kale (adapted from Kalyn’s Kitchen)
And the #1 recipe for 2015 is – drumroll please!!
Spicy Mexican Pasta Salad for a Crowd and this is no surprise. This pasta salad went crazy on Pinterest, but don’t say I didn’t warn you. It makes enough for a crowd!
That’s the top 20! If you give them a try, be sure to leave me a comment. Most cooks switch recipes up, and I’m always happy to hear how you’ve made my recipes your own.
Happy New Year!
