As part of our eat seafood at least once a week plan (yes, I have lots of eating plans), I have been buying different types of seafood from Trader Joe’s. I can trust Trader Joe’s quality, so I’m feeling pretty good about eating the frozen sole.
Anyway, this recipe from RecipeZaar, called for Mahi_Mahi, but the sole worked just as well. I love those Asian flavors. The use of red wine was very interesting. I couldn’t really taste it, so I’m not sure why the addition.
If you aren’t using a thick piece of fish such as Mahi-Mahi, be sure to reduce your marinating time. I marinated the thin pieces of sole for 30 minutes, and that was plenty.
