Who is Travelin’ Local?
Travelin’ Local is an online magazine inspired by Lisa Newton.
Travelin’ Local provides readers with interesting places to go, things to see and food to eat, from Los Angeles to San Diego. As Lisa states it . . .
“Travelin’ Local’s mission is to explore those magical, interesting, and famous locations in and around Los Angeles and Southern California, and to recognize that there’s always specific customs, neighborhoods, people, architecture, nature, and other day to day life experiences, that are often taken for granted.”
Editor, David, approached me several months ago to ask if I’d write articles for them.
Write? Me? Can’t imagine why I’d want to do that, being a blogger and all.
So, now you have the history behind these blog posts about Travelin’ Local. Time to move on to today’s recipe.
Wild Salmon and Broccoli with Sherry Caper Sauce
This week’s article – Wrap it Up, is a simple recipe for wild salmon and broccoli. Salmon and broccoli is bathed in a sweet sherry and caper sauce, then enclosed in foil to cook to perfection.
This is such a simple cooking method that works well for chicken too. In fact, this same recipes would make a delectable chicken dish, wouldn’t it?
Thanks for the opportunity Travelin’ Local! Happy cooking!
