Spicy Garlic and Chive Salmon Burgers

Spicy Garlic and Chive Grilled Salmon Burger

Spicy Garlic and Chive Grilled Salmon Burger

Salmon is becoming the new chicken in my house. We have salmon at one meal a week, so coming up with new recipes to keep it exciting is becoming increasingly difficult.

Add the restriction of my cooking challenge of the month (recipes with six ingredients or less), and now I have to be even more creative. Fortunately, I’m a big salmon burger fan, so this recipe fit right in with my challenge and the food in my pantry.

Fresh garlic and chives really add a fresh taste to the mayonnaise, and really give the salmon added moisture and kick.

Happy cooking!

Salmon Burger Ingredients

8 ounces salmon fillets
2 ea hamburger buns, whole grain
2 large lettuce leaves

Grill salmon approximately 4 – 5 minutes each side until salmon just flakes. It should still be very moist.

Spicy Sauce Ingredients

1 cup light mayonnaise, Kraft with Olive Oil
1 clove garlic, squeezed
¼ cup chives, chopped

Combine sauce ingredients.

Top your salmon burger with sauce and lettuce.
