Yikes! Where did the time go? I’m late for this month’s cooking challenge! No matter, I have an idea that will get us all in shape for the holiday season.
Yes, it’s that time of year when most of us start worrying about holiday weight gain before the holidays have even started, myself included.

Savory Stuffed Chicken Breasts with Artichoke and Herb Salad
So, in the spirit of keeping calories in check when we aren’t celebrating with family and friends, for the months of November and December the recipes posted on this blog will be yummy, but extra light.
What does that mean? Meals will be less than 400 calories. Snacks and appetizers will be less than 150 calories, and desserts will be less than 150 calories.
Stick with me and we can get through the holidays without gaining enough weight to keep us from buttoning our pants by the end of the day, I promise!

Great idea. I’ve been thinking about eating light, in order to be able to indulge guilt free on the holidays. I wonder how many calories are in the Grilled Chipotle Chicken? I’m going to try and break it down!
